The film’s trailer gives the captivating thriller vibes, and the film delivers it too. At the start, the film begins at a slow pace, one after the other the characters are introduced, some random shots are shown having no connection to each other. But, eventually, the film starts connecting all the dots. And, when all the pieces fall into the right places, the film doesn’t let you take your eyes off the screen. The screenplay of the film is really beautiful. At a high level, the film has a simple home invasion plot, but the fully fleshed characters make it even more interesting. The film talks brilliantly about the philosophy of hate by keeping the religious divisiveness in India at the center of the story. The film is layered, so are its characters. Every character of the film is very well written, and invisible tension in their conflicting thoughts drives the film. The film is raw, intense, and does not hold back while making a solid commentary on the complex topics. The film also casts Prithviraj Sukumaran as Laiq, Srindaa as Sumathi, Shine Tom Chacko as Karim, and Manikandan R Achari as Preman in the prominent roles. And, the solid performances from all of its characters elevates the overall experience.
Verdict : The film is a must-watch for those who like dark crime thrillers.
